Rute Morais Peixoto is a licensed OASRN architect from Porto (PT), based in Helsinki (FI).
She has a Master degree from the Faculty of Architecture of Porto (2015), having also studied in the Fakulteta za Arhitekturo in Ljubljana. Her thesis obtained distinction of excellence.
Rute worked with Eduardo Souto de Moura, Álvaro Siza Vieira, Fala Atelier and Eero Lundén. She was a summer school teacher at FAUP in 2012 and currently teaches building design at Aalto University.
Rute's practice is highly focused on the sensorial and perceptive experience. She enjoys working closely with clients and partners to deliver personalized and unique designs.
Her multidisciplinary approach includes building design, interior design, furniture design, illustration and music, having composed and performed songs to be featured in indie video games.
